Fr Philip Harrop
Parish Priest
Fr Philip was inducted as Parish Priest of St John's and St Joseph's in the Advent of 2023. Prior to this appointment he was Parish Priest of St Dunstan's and St Jude's in Kings Heath. Previously he had also served as Parish Priest in both Nuneaton and Chelmsley Wood, and assisted in parishes in Stafford and Walsall. When opportunities arise, he enjoys sampling good food and wine, movies at the cinema, snooping around medieval churches and trying to make good use of a National Trust card! Before being received into the Catholic Church at the tail end of the twentieth century , he served as a clergyman of the Church of England in South Yorkshire.

Deacon Bob was ordained a permanent deacon in 2004 at St. Chad's Cathedral. He was ordained as deacon for the parish of St. Joseph the Worker and ministers in Banbury Catholic parishes.

Deacon Jim was ordained a permanent deacon on the 4th July 2021 in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. He is a parishioner of St John's Church and ministers in Banbury Catholic Churches. Jim is also a Catholic chaplain at a prison within the Birmingham Diocese.
