How to get involved at St Joseph's...
St Joseph's is a very active parish, with a wide variety of different groups which encourage parishioners of all ages to engage with each other and wider community of Banbury. Here are just a few of them.
THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
The Finance Committee meet approximately four times per year. Their functions include counting & banking the collections; Gift Aid; Book-keeping; Computer Records; Quarterly Accounts; Annual Returns to the Archdiocese.

ALTAR SERVERS
For boys and girls who have made their First Holy Communion. They can be inducted into the Guild of St Stephen after they have served for a minimum of two years. Contact Fr John or Fr Ryan. EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion work from a rota, prepared in advance. For more information, please contact the parish office. FOOD BANK St. Joseph’s Food-Bank opened in March 2015: we are open on Monday and Wednesday from 10am until 12noon. We give out three days worth of food to people struggling to put food on the table, due to a sudden crisis; a voucher from frontline professionals such as CAB, social workers or job centres is required. |

If you (or a member of your family) is in hospital, please inform St John’s Parish office, so that we can include you on the sick visiting list. The Hospital Chaplains are Fr John Peyton and Fr Ryan Service.
OVER 60s MONDAY LUNCH CLUB
This takes place in the Dupuis Centre on the second Monday of each month (except during the summer holiday). Places are limited, so booking in advance is required. The cost per head is £5.
